Primary School

Primary School is an abstract strategy game with 3 colors for 2 players using 1 card. Players position their fish to try and to push their opponent's fish off the board, or leave them unable to play forcing them to push their own fish out of play. With only the two actions of Swim and Spin that can be done each turn, this simple game becomes increasingly a game of planning and foresight to not become fatally stuck or fall into a trap.

Black makes an early mistake in turn 3 by aggressively pushing fish to Y2. Then on turn 5, Moves to Y2 again to trade fish on turn 6 and on White’s turn 7

White’s Turn 8 Moves the blue fish to Y1, freeing up the row for the next fish to Enter Play, and positioning it for the next turn.

Black makes their final, fatal mistake by overlooking white’s plan and not Spinning the yellow fish in B3. Instead, they Move their red fish to R2 and Spin with the intent of pushing the fish on Y2 and B2 off of the board and winning.

So White is free to push their red fish to Y3 and then Moving it to B3 to push Black’s third fish, and win.
